“You shall therefore lay up these words of mine in your heart and in your soul, and you shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes.
— Deuteronomy 11:18
We know we need to memorize scripture — to write God’s Word on our hearts — but sometimes we struggle to carry this out. There’s one way, though, that I find quite easy: song. It’s how we learn our ABCs, and it’s effective for learning the Bible, too!
At home I combined a few Bible verses I wanted our kids to know with easy tunes we already knew. I found that both our kids (6 and 3) love singing these songs and learn them easily, and I do, too! So today I’m sharing our songs with you in the form of a printable songbook.
— teaches 13 simple, relevant Bible passages (like, Do all things without grumbling or disputing.) 🙂
— utilizes well-known tunes, such as Mary Had a Little Lamb
— includes an engaging, multiethnic photograph with each Bible verse
— is great for use at home, in Bible class, or in a Christian preschool
— is FREE!
